This is a short slide show video in memory of Terry McNiven who passed away suddenly Saturday the 17th of June, 2017. Terry was a Great Friend and Mentor to all who knew him and will be sorely missed. His influence on the band’s “Big Al’s Music Company” and “The Detroit Dawgs” is unmistakable and will live on through all his lifelong friendships, too many to mention here by name. This slide show is accompanied with an original song of “Big Al’s Music Company” called “Social Climber”, which features Terry McNiven on Bass Guitar and bib over-alls. The Guitar intro was created by Jimmy Grant, who also played First Guitar (left Channel) and Slide Guitar during the middle of the song. Brian McNiven, Jimmy’s running mate, played Second Guitar (right channel) and is Terry’s brother. On a Thousand Drums and Percussion is Dan “Lee”Pilarski, while handling the Lead Vocals is John Babij (who also Wrote, Engineered, and Mixed the song). Helping round out the Production is Keith Howard who sang Back-Up Vocals, and Tim Barber who played the Keyboards. Many thanks to all the friends of the band who helped and supported us throughout the years. It was and still is greatly appreciated. Again, this is in remembrance of Terry McNiven and may the Good Lord always Bless him, his family, and all of the people that were touched by his graciousness…JRB.
