North County Line is a band whose members originate from the South-Eastern part of Michigan. They mainly play Classic Rock and Country, but occasionally dabble with an original song or two. Billy Starr plays Guitar and is from Newport Michigan, Steve Thornton plays Keyboards/Guitar/Fiddle/Sings and is from Monroe Michigan, Roger Schilling plays Drums and is from Westland Michigan, Ron Mancos plays Bass and is from Wyandotte Michigan, and John Babij is their Lead Singer/Recording Engineer who hails from the great city of Detroit. He also plays the Rickenbacker Bass on “Try Not To Look So Pretty”, while SteveThornton is playing the Fiddle, and our Special Guest Tim Small is on Lead Vocals and playing Keyboards on the same song. Guest Artist’s on the song “Neon Moon” are Robert Bruce who is the Lead Vocalist and playing Bass, with Toni Frantz on Steinway Piano, while John Babij sang harmonies and arranged the String Section. Here are just a few of the songs that represent the band’s diversity and musicianship.
